About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a **Senior Relationship Manager** to join the First Clearing team. This individual will play a critical role in managing and deepening relationships with independent broker-dealers and investment advisors, ensuring exceptional service delivery, and driving growth through strategic partnership. The ideal candidate will have strong relationship management skills, deep knowledge of the independent advisor space, and the ability to navigate complex business needs while maintaining a client-first approach.
In this role, you will:
+ Own overall responsibility for relationship management for a segment or clients across First Clearing Introducing Broker Dealer and Register Investment Advisors.
+ Establish and build relationships with client firms at the executive, and business management level to deepen and grow partnerships between First Clearing and Introducing Broker Dealers.
+ Lead and support cross-functional team discussions to provide customer perspective/feedback.
+ Coordinate participation in First Clearing events and activities.
+ Collaborate with all levels of professionals and managers companywide at Wells Fargo and serve as the liaison between Wells Fargo and our First Clearing Independent Broker Dealers' management teams serving with the mission of ensuring awareness, availability and adoption of all platform resources.
+ Act as the focal point for interactions between client firm leadership and First Clearing
+ Coordinate and manage relationship management governance structures and activities between First Clearing and our clients.
+ Provide subject matter expertise on First Clearings offerings, including investment products, advice and planning tools, desktop tools and banking, lending, and trust offerings.
+ Participate in contract negotiation renewal activities.
Required Qualifications:
+ 7+ years of Business Growth Strategy and relationship management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.
Desired Qualifications:
+ 6+ years securities brokerage and investment advisory services experience
+ FINRA Series 7
+ In depth knowledge of retail wealth management investment products and services required.
+ Expert communication (written and verbal) skills.
+ Expert presentation skills, including advanced proficiency in the construction or presentation materials (PowerPoint).
+ Demonstrated ability to foster a continuous level of engagement between financial advisors, executives, and Wells Fargo.
+ Superior conflict resolution skills.
+ Demonstrated ability to understand clients, define client needs, build trust, set and manage expectations.
+ Experience in managing relationships at an executive level, preferably in a financial service-based business environment.
Job Expectations:
+ Follow enterprise guidelines related to in-person office work schedule. Currently, hybrid work schedule (at least 3 days in-person/week) - this is subject to change in the future
+ This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship
+ This position is subject to FINRA Background Screening Requirements, including successful completion and clearing of a background check. Internal transfers are subject to compliance with 17 CFR 240.17f-2 of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 and FINRA Bylaws, Article III, Section 3, which states that Associated Persons should not be subject to statutory disqualification. Successful candidates must also meet ongoing regulatory requirements including additional screening and are required to report certain incidents
+ Specific compliance policies may apply regarding outside activities or personal investing; affected employees will be expected to provide information to the Wells Fargo Personal Account Dealing Team and abide by applicable policy requirements if hired. + Ability to travel up to 20%.
