    Position Overview:

    Develops, coordinates, implements and maintains the injury prevention programs and participates in community injury prevention programs based on Trauma Registry data and the needs of the community.

     

    **Job Description** :

    EDUCATION:

    + _Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma._

    + Bachelor's: Bachelor's of Science in Health or related field.

    CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE:

    + BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider

    TYPICAL EXPERIENCE:

    + 2 years recent relevant experience

    SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:

    + Knowledge of local community and community agencies

    + Medical terminology

    + Knowledge of Computer software including (word, excel, PowerPoint)

    + Familiar with professional desktop publishing (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, PageMaker) software

    + Website development : Teamsite and Sharepoint

    + Grant Writing

    + Public speaking

    + Must possess verbal and written communication skills

    + Ability to work collaboratively with external and internal stakeholders.

    + Ability to express complex issues in understandable ways.

    + Must be able to effectively communicate with diverse audiences.

    + Ability to work independently.

    + Ability to anticipate proactively resolve issues.

    + Ability to recognize and take advantage of opportunities that will enhance the injury prevention program and the image of the Trauma Center and assigned Affiliate.

    + Organizational skills

    + Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines and respond quickly and effectively.

    Pay Range is $43.34 to $65.00 / hour
