Job Title: Level 2 Cable Technician

Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Level 2 Cable Technician to join a growing team in the commercial low-voltage industry. This role involves installing, terminating, and testing structured cabling systems with minimal supervision, ensuring projects are completed accurately and on time.

Responsibilities:

+ Install, terminate, and test copper and fiber optic cabling systems.

+ Perform cable routing, dressing, and labeling according to industry standards.

+ Read and interpret blueprints, floor plans, and project documentation.

+ Troubleshoot and resolve cabling issues independently.

+ Assist with rack and patch panel installations.

+ Ensure compliance with standards and company quality guidelines.

Qualifications:

+ 2+ years of experience in structured cabling installation.

+ Proficiency in copper and fiber termination and testing.

+ Ability to work independently and manage tasks efficiently.

+ Strong understanding of industry standards and best practices.

+ Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on ladders or in confined spaces.

+ Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.

Preferred Skills:

+ Experience with commercial environments and large-scale projects.

+ Familiarity with cable certification tools

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Fayetteville, GA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
