TEKsystems is currently seeking a Senior Network Engineer for a 2 year contract located in Redmond, WA. Position will sit on-site in Redmond 5 days per week.

*BGP/OSPF

*Python scripting experience

- Development and deployment of automated systems for the rapid and efficient rollout of new network sites and updates

- Development of a capability to verify network configuration and management at production site

- Automated testing framework for network deployments and updates

- Pipeline-based automated deployments for TNT owned networking tools for production sites

* Thorough understanding of TCP/IP networking IP routing core technologies such as IP TCP OSPF BGP Firewalls ACLs DNS DHCP IPAM etc.

* Experience with one or more of the following router server load balancer and firewall vendor platforms: Cisco Juniper Alcatel-Lucent Arista Brocade Extreme Citrix F5 Fortinet Palo Alto etc.

* 2 years of major internet routing protocols experience through network layers 1-4

* 2 years of working in a Linux/Unix environment experience

* Experience Python and providing valuable insights

* 1 years of automation scripting using Python Bash Shell and/or Perl experience

* Lead improvements in existing processes and identify opportunities to enhance or develop new processes

* Experience working in a highly available network and highly operationally aware

* Knowledge of network hardware and packet forwarding architectures.

* Experience work in the Lab

* Experience with IPv6/IPv4 Design and implementations

The pay range for this position is $70.00 - $75.00/hr.
