Our client, a leading distilling and food ingredients manufacturer, is seeking a Distillery Process Engineer to join their team. As a Distillery Process Engineer, you will be part of the Engineering & Operations team, supporting distillery operations, quality, safety, and continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, cross-functional collaboration abilities, and a continuous improvement mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Distillery Process Engineer
Pay Range: $75,000 + Bonus
What’s the Job?
+ Support and optimize daily distillery operations to meet performance, quality, and reliability targets
+ Troubleshoot process, quality, and operational issues and implement corrective actions
+ Lead continuous improvement initiatives using tools such as GAP analysis, ZBA, and time studies
+ Manage and support capital and expense projects, including documentation and startup support
+ Oversee new equipment and product startups, ensuring processes meet requirements and transition smoothly to production
What’s Needed?
+ Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering (required)
+ 5+ years of ethanol or distillery process experience (milling, fermentation, distillation, dryhouse)
+ 2+ years of project management experience
+ Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
+ Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with physical demands
