Our client in Plano, TX is seeking a Material Handler (Picker/Packer) to join their team. With this position, you will be part of the warehouse department supporting the production floor. The ideal candidate will have attention-to-detail, good organization skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment which will align successfully in the organization.

**Job Title:** Material Handler (Picker/Packer)

**Pay Range:** $20.00/hr depending on experience

**Job Type:** Temp-to-hire

**Hours / Location:** 7:00 am to 4:00 pm / Plano, TX

What’s the Job?

+ Unboxes raw material and performs minor assembly with power screwdriver

+ Packages materials and products manually.

+ Folds and tapes boxes, applies labels, and stacks boxes on pallets according to direction.

+ Performs basic quality control checks including measuring, weighing, strength testing, package counts, and evaluating product or package appearance.

+ Inspects deliveries for damages or defects, records discrepancies, notifies team.

What’s Needed?

+ Picker/Packer and material **handling** experience

+ Regularly required to stand, walk, and use hands to manipulate objects, tools, or controls, reach with hands and arms while taking and hearing

+ Frequently lift and/or move up to 35 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with assistance of others

+ Capable of following written instructions and pre-established guidelines.

+ Attention to detail and good organization skills, as well as ability to work in a fast-paced environment
