Our client, a global technology and engineering company, is seeking a Mechanical Test Engineer to join their team. As a Mechanical Test Engineer, you will be part of the Mechanical Engineering department supporting the fluidics and mechatronics subsystem design teams. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and effective communication abilities, which will align successfully in the organization.

**Location:** Tarrytown, NY

Pay Range:

What’s the Job?

+ Develop and implement fluidic and mechanical test fixtures in collaboration with design engineering teams.

+ Create and execute test plans, generate detailed reports, and communicate results to the design team.

+ Support detailed engineering analysis of new and existing designs to verify robustness and design intent.

+ Produce 3D models and assemblies of test fixtures, including sheet metal, machined, and 3D printed parts.

+ Ensure lab equipment is maintained, calibrated, and laboratories are organized and safe.

What’s Needed?

+ Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Mechatronic Engineering (or equivalent experience).

+ Minimum 4 years of industry experience in product design, development, testing, or manufacturing, with expertise in mechanical assemblies for fluid and motion control.

+ Proficiency in NX CAD or similar software and experience with GD&T and ASME Y14.5 standards.

+ Experience with lab instrumentation, such as pressure/force transducers, flow meters, and thermocouples, and data acquisition systems.

+ Strong organizational, planning, and communication skills; experience with MATLAB or LabVIEW is a plus.
