Who will you be working with?
L&M Radiator, Inc. is a global designer, manufacturer, and distributor of MESABI cooling and heat transfer solutions that are custom-made for heavy equipment in the mining, oil, gas, construction and heavy industrial industries. This role is crucial in ensuring product completion, and meeting quality standards prior to shipping. You will work directly with other production supervisors and the Site Operations Lead. This role directly reports to the Site Operations Lead.
How will you make a difference?
The Tubing Department Supervisor is responsible for supervising the assembly crew and ensuring product coordination to meet customer expectations for quality and delivery. As the Supervisor, you will oversee the efficient and effective operation of their department in production. By coordinating staff, monitoring processes, and analyzing data, the supervisor ensures production goals are met while maintaining quality standards and compliance. The supervisor's role is critical in driving continuous improvement to boost productivity and support the overall success of the organization.
This position is a salaried position. _It is for our second shift which operates Monday-Friday from 2:00pm-10:00pm._
What do we want to know about you?
+ High School Diploma or GED.
+ 2 years previous experience as supervisor or 3 years of service at L&M.
+ 18 years or older.
What will your typical day look like?
+ Communicate effectively with the Production Manager and other departments regarding delays or ship date issues.
+ Review jobs for special instructions and procedures.
+ Train, evaluate, and motivate personnel; organize overtime when needed.
+ Manage department personnel matters (discipline, terminations, attendance, schedules, hiring).
+ Maintain accurate time records and coordinate with payroll for corrections.
+ Ensure compliance with all safety procedures and maintain a clean, orderly shop.
+ Plan and oversee production for the Tubing Department, including future builds.
+ Coordinate machine maintenance and ensure equipment readiness; maintain scrap and RO system logs.
+ Communicate across shifts and departments for smooth workflow; complete daily HIT list.
+ Attend required meetings and perform additional duties, including travel, as directed.
What about the physical demands of the job?
+ Wear correct PPE – earplugs, protective eye wear, steel-toed boots, and work provided uniform (gloves when necessary)
+ Lift a minimum of 50lbs.
+ Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time at workstation.
+ Read and follow instructions and blueprints.
+ Practice and maintain safe work conditions.
You may also be asked to perform other duties outside of your function or trade, for which adequate training will be provided if necessary.

The salary range for this role is between $60,700.00 - $106,200.00 USD Annual. The actual starting salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors, such as training, transferable skills, work experience, education, business needs, market demands, and work location. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
