    **Job Title:** Logistics Material Planner

    **Location:** Chattanooga, TN

    **Shift:** days 7:30a-4:30p / 8a-5p with OT as needed

    **Status of Hire:** full-time, direct hire, salaried exempt

    **Pay:** $80-85k

    **Industry:** automotive, manufacturing

    **ERP System:** SAP

    Job Duties

    + Ensure that suppliers have accurate forecast of releases ensuring that components are delivered in order to meet production requirements

    + Using data in SAP to prepare forecast

    + Based on forecast, plan orders for components from suppliers

    + Monitor stock levels of components/material and ensure on-time delivery from suppliers

    + Releasing orders from suppliers for components

    + Reviewing and updating released and planned orders daily

    + Communication and follow-up of orders to suppliers

    + Maintaining and controlling inventory balances

    Requirements:

    + 2-4 year degree and 5+ years’ experience in a manufacturing setting working with domestic and international suppliers

    + Strong working knowledge of SAP and SPAB

    + Experience with transportation/logistics industry helpful

    + Strong organizational skills

    + MS Office applications

    + Self-disciplined

    + Good communication skills (Assertive)

    **Must be authorized to work in the United States, client is not able to offer sponsorship at this time
