    Corrections Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Arlington, VA

     

    Position Type: PRN / Contract

     

    Shift: Day shift (6:30 AM – 7:00 PM)

     

    Schedule: Rotating 36/48 schedule

     

    Role Overview

     

    The Corrections Licensed Practical Nurse works in close and immediate contact with adults and children in custody, providing general and emergency nursing care in the Medical and Ambulatory section of the Corrections Facility while maintaining facility security standards.

    Minimum Requirements

    + Current Practical Nursing License in the applicable state

    + Minimum of 2+ years of experience in skilled nursing OR corrections

    + Current CPR certification (if applicable)

    + TB Questionnaire, PPD, or chest x-ray (if applicable)

    + Current health certificate (per contract or state regulation)

    + Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements

    + Must be at least 18 years of age

    Assignment Details

    + Length of Assignment: 16 weeks, with automatic extensions if in good standing

    + Training provided on all posts within the jail; nurses will rotate through posts during assignment

    Additional Benefits
