School Nurse (LVN/LPN) – Chula Vista, CA

Position Details

+ Role: School Nurse (LVN/LPN)

+ Location: South County San Diego, other schools available as well

+ Schedule: Monday–Friday, school hours (holidays off!)

+ Opportunities: Full-time and per diem

+ Pay Rate: Based on Experience

+ Setting: Health Office or 1:1 student care

What You’ll Do

+ Provide direct care and support to students throughout the school day

+ Administer medications and treatments as prescribed

+ Respond to medical needs and emergencies with professionalism

+ Assist in Health Office operations or 1:1 student assignments

+ Collaborate with school staff, families, and healthcare providers

+ Maintain accurate, confidential health records

+ Promote health education and wellness initiatives on campus

Minimum Requirements

+ Active California LVN license (unencumbered)

+ Valid CPR certification

+ Experience in pediatric, school, or community nursing (preferred)

+ Diabetic management, seizure management, and asthma management experience (preferred)

+ Strong communication and documentation skills

+ Flexibility and heart to support diverse student needs
