    School Based Special Education Teacher – Phoenix, AZ

     

    Pay Rate: $50/hour

     

    Hours: 40 per week

     

    Duration: ASAP – End of 2025–2026 School Year

     

    We are seeking a full-time Special Education Teacher to providehigh-quality educational services to students in grades K–12. Under thedirection of the Special Education Program Administrator, you will collaboratewith general education staff to plan and implement individualized programs,including specialized instruction, tutorial assistance, and IEP compliance.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Deliver instruction and support to students with special needs in an elementary resource setting.

    + Participate in IEP development and implementation.

    + Collaborate with paras and other team members to ensure student success.

    + Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.

     

    Caseload & Support

     

    + Caseload: 12 students or fewer

    + Classroom Support: 2 paraprofessionals per 12 students

    + Modality: SPED Resource

    + Testing: IEP-related assessments

    Minimum Requirements

    + Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university (preferred)

    + Valid Arizona Special Education Teaching Certificate (full certification or endorsement required)

    + Minimum of one year teaching experience (preferred)

    + Endorsement: Learning Behavior Specialist (LBS1) preferred

    + Current CPR certification (if applicable)

    + TB clearance and health certificate per state regulations

    + Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements

    + Must be at least 18 years of age

     

    Start Date: December 5, 2025

     

    End Date: May 21, 2026

     

    Schedule: Monday–Friday, full-time
