Special Education Teacher (K–2 Resource)

Schedule: 7:50 AM – 2:40 PM | Start: ASAP – End of School Year

Are you passionate about helping young learners reach their full potential? We’re seeking a dedicated and dynamic Special Education Teacher to join our team and support students in grades K–2. In this role, you’ll deliver individualized instruction, collaborate with general education staff, and ensure every child receives the tools they need to succeed.

With para support in the classroom, you’ll have the resources and teamwork necessary to create a nurturing, inclusive environment where students can thrive academically and socially.

What You’ll Do

+ Provide high-quality special education services to students in kindergarten through 2nd grade.

+ Design and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) in collaboration with general education teachers.

+ Deliver targeted instruction and consultation to support student success.

+ Foster a positive, inclusive classroom culture that promotes independence and confidence.

+ Participate in team planning and professional development to continually grow your expertise.

What We’re Looking For

+ Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university (preferred).

+ Valid state teaching certificate per district and state regulations.

+ Endorsement: Learning Behavior Specialist (LBS1) preferred; Early Childhood Special Education approval accepted.

+ Experience: Minimum of one year teaching experience (preferred).

+ Compliance with all professional standards and health requirements.
