    Special Education Teacher – Caledonia, MI

    30 Hours/Week | Competitive Pay ($40/hr)

     

    Start Date: January 5, 2026 – June 1, 2026 (Potential to Extend)

This is an exciting opportunity to provide quality services to students from Kindergarten through Grade 12, working collaboratively with general education staff to ensure every child thrives.

    What You’ll Do:

    + Deliver specialized instruction and tutorial assistance

    + Consult with general education staff to support inclusion

    + Participate in planning and implementing individualized student programs

    Minimum Requirements:

    + Bachelor’s Degree (preferred)

    + Valid Michigan teaching certificate (Special Education endorsement preferred)

    + Will accept candidates in an approved MI alternative teaching program

    + Experience in a teaching environment (preferred)

    + Compliance with all federal, state, and local requirements

    + Current CPR, TB screening, and health certificate if applicable

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Endorsement: Learning Behavior Specialist (LBS1)

    + Experience working with students with emotional impairments
