Job Title: Special Education Teacher

Reports To: Special Education Program Administrator

Position Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to provide high-quality educational services to K–12 students with special needs. This role involves collaborating with general education staff to plan and implement individualized programs, including specialized instruction and consultation, while ensuring compliance with all regulations.

Responsibilities:

+ Develop and implement IEPs in accordance with federal, state, and local guidelines.

+ Deliver specially designed instruction tailored to student needs.

+ Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to support student success.

+ Monitor and document progress toward IEP goals.

+ Participate in team meetings and professional development.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Bachelor’s Degree (preferred).

+ Valid state teaching certificate; endorsements in Special Education preferred.

+ Learning Behavior Specialist (LBS1) endorsement preferred.

+ Minimum one year teaching experience (preferred).

+ Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements.
