School Teacher – $45/hr – Markham, IL – Full-Time (In-Person)

Position Overview:

Amergis is seeking multiple General Education Teachers for junior high assignments teaching grades 6–8. These roles involve implementing daily instructional plans, maintaining a positive classroom environment, and fostering student growth.

Openings:

+ General Education Teacher – PEL with Spanish endorsement

+ General Education Teacher – PEL with Middle School Math endorsement

+ General Education Teacher – PEL with ESL or Dual Language endorsement

Assignment Details:

+ Location: Markham, IL

+ Start Date: January 12, 2026

+ End Date: End of School Year

+ Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:40 AM – 2:40 PM | 35 hrs/week

+ Modality: In-person

+ Pay Rate: $45/hr

+ Breaks: Unpaid lunch break

Minimum Requirements:

+ Bachelor’s Degree or higher

+ Valid teaching license/certification (PEL with appropriate endorsement)

+ One year of teaching experience preferred

+ Ability to read and implement instructional plans

+ CPR certification (if applicable)

+ TB screening and health clearance

+ Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements

+ Must be at least 18 years of age
