Purpose
Leads and directs large-scale or complex projects from initiation through completion, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, client requirements, and budgetary constraints. Responsible for overall project performance, including scope, schedule, cost, quality, risk management, and client satisfaction. Serves as a strategic leader, guiding project teams, coordinating stakeholders, and driving successful outcomes.
Responsibilities
Leadership and Direction
+ Provide executive-level leadership and direction to multidisciplinary project teams.
+ Establish project objectives, priorities, and performance expectations.
+ Mentor and guide project managers and senior team members.
+ Resolve high-level project issues and make critical decisions to maintain project alignment with strategic goals.
+ Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
At the Operational and Company Level
+ Serve as the primary point of contact for clients on large or complex projects.
+ Oversee project planning, resource allocation, budgeting, and scheduling.
+ Coordinate with internal departments, external stakeholders, and regulatory agencies to ensure project compliance and delivery.
+ Support business development efforts by identifying opportunities for additional work and building client relationships.
+ Monitor project financial performance, including profitability, costs, and revenue recognition.
Do the Work
+ Direct and oversee project execution, including design, engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning activities.
+ Ensure that project deliverables meet quality standards, schedule requirements, and client expectations.
+ Monitor and manage project risks, developing mitigation strategies as needed.
+ Review and approve project documentation, reports, and technical submissions.
+ Conduct regular project meetings, status updates, and performance reviews with team members and clients.
+ Facilitate resolution of disputes, contract issues, and technical challenges.
+ Implement and enforce company policies, procedures, and best practices across projects.

+ Ability to compose professional business-related correspondence, accurately proofread documents and read, interpret and understand Civil and Architectural Drawings.
+ Experience in managing processes and people.
Qualifications
+ Bachelor’s degree business administration or related field, or equivalent commensurate experience is required.
+ Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, architecture, related discipline or equivalent construction or development experience is a plus.
+ Professional Engineer (PE) license or PMP certification preferred.
+ Project Management certification(s) or progress towards such certifications preferred (PMP, CAPM, CSM, CompTIA, etc.).
+ Ten or more (10+) years of experience within the A/E industry to include a minimum of five (5) years progressively more responsible project and program management experience.
+ Familiarity with Deltek ERP systems, AutoCAD and
+ Knowledge of project management from conception to delivery and strong knowledge of contracts, procurement, and construction administration.
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), web browsers (Microsoft Edge and Google Chrome), Adobe Acrobat and/or Bluebeam.
+ Proficiency in advanced Microsoft features such as pivot tables, Power Automate, Power BI, and graphical Information Portals is a plus.
+ Demonstrated experience leading multidisciplinary teams and managing project delivery.
+ Proficiency in project management software, Microsoft Office Suite, and scheduling tools.

Physical Demands and Working Environment
+ Primarily indoor professional office environment which may include exposure to bright/dim light, noise, fumes, odors, and traffic.
+ Mobility around an office
+ Partly outdoor work environment which may include exposure to outside weather conditions, varying temperatures, excessive noise, and/or potential hazards.
+ Mobility around a job/construction site to include walking, bending, crawling, climbing, squatting, or kneeling and wearing of required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
+ Frequent and prolonged use of standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
+ Primarily local travel during the business day, although some out-of-the-area and overnight travel may be required according to the needs of the business.
+ Occasional lifting or carrying up to 20 Occasional pushing or pulling up to 20 pounds
+ Occasional reaching outward or above shoulder.
