• Sheet Metal Foreman (Commercial Roofing)

    ### Job Duties

    - Oversee daily warehouse operations including shipping, receiving, staging, deliveries, and material organization.

     

    - Manage inventory of flat roofing materials such as TPO, EPDM, PVC, ISO insulation, cover board, adhesives, fasteners, drains, and more.

     

    - Perform quarterly inventory counts with regular spot checks to maintain accuracy.

     

    - Forecast material needs based on project schedules and communicate shortages proactively.

     

    - Coordinate receiving and inspection of incoming materials to verify quantity, quality, and accuracy.

     

    - Ensure materials are properly labeled, stored, and protected from damage.

     

    - Maintain a clean, organized warehouse that complies with OSHA safety standards.

     

    - Oversee equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks; schedule maintenance, repairs, and inspections.

     

    - Implement and improve warehouse processes, SOPs, and workflow efficiency.

     

    - Enforce all OSHA and company safety standards, including proper handling of adhesives, solvents, flammables, and other hazardous materials.

     

    - Conduct regular safety meetings and training sessions.

     

    - Communicate effectively with office and field teams to support production needs.

     

    - Occasionally travel to job sites to deliver materials or review setups (between Waite Park and New Hope locations; company vehicle provided).

     

    ### Minimum Education Required

    High school diploma or equivalent (GED)

     

    ### Minimum Experience Required

    - 3+ years of warehouse or logistics experience (construction or commercial roofing preferred).

     

    - Experience using inventory systems (Viewpoint Spectrum is a plus).

     

    - Valid driver's license.

     

    - Ability to operate a forklift (certification preferred or willingness to obtain).

     

    - Ability to lift 50–75 lbs and work in indoor/outdoor environments.
