Required Education/Experience
+ High School Diploma/GED and 5 years work experience or
+ Associate's Degree and 4 years work experience or
+ Bachelor's Degree and 3 years work experience
Preferred Education/Experience
+ Bachelor's Degree and 3 years work experience Construction Management/Public Improvement or general construction, contracts, contract administration.
Relevant Work Experience
+ Working knowledge of contract administration, required.
+ General understanding of construction industry practices, unit items, and payment processes, required.
+ Working knowledge of construction contract administration, including purchase orders and contractor payments, and familiarity with supporting documents (e.g., street opening tickets, permits, utility layouts), preferred.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn construction-related systems (e.g., Maximo, CworX, Oracle, Smart App), required.
+ Excellent communication, organizational, interpersonal skills and presentation skills
+ Able to manage multiple priorities and develop positive working relationships, required.
+ Experience in a construction or utility environment, preferred.
+ Exposure to contract administration in a regulated industry, preferred.
+ Familiarity with construction specifications, trenching, and restoration manuals; basic understanding of street restoration processes, preferred.

+ Ability to read small print and symbols
Additional Physical Demands
+ The selected candidate will be assigned a System Emergency Assignment (i.e., an emergency response role) and will be expected to work non-business hours during emergencies, which may include nights, weekends, and holidays.
+ Must be able to work occasional extended or non-traditional hours due to Department or Company emergencies
+ Must be able and willing to travel within Company service territory, as needed.
+ Must be able to wear proper personal protective equipment.
