13699BRJob Description:United States Steel Corporation has an immediate opening for an Executive Assistant at its Granite City, IL location.
Responsibilities:
+ Serves as an integral part of the Granite City Works leadership team; participates in staff meetings, maintains agenda items and minutes and follows up on action items as necessary.
+ Performs a broad range of administrative support duties to ensure that the office and related work are being managed efficiently and effectively.
+ Drafts correspondence, summaries and presentations and prepares associated materials.
+ Arrange all travel plans, coordinate itineraries, and handles processing related expenses.
+ Establish and maintain a calendar for the executives and handle advance notification of any required action.
+ Audit for approval all payments of office bills such as association membership dues, equipment rental, telephone, and miscellaneous office supplies.
+ Prepare and audit cost center budgets.
+ Responsible for project execution and management.
+ Perform other administrative duties and special projects as required.
Requirements:
+ Associate degree with a concentration in administrative support, business or a closely related field; bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
+ At least three years of experience providing support to senior-level management employees
+ Demonstrated advanced computer proficiency including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
+ Excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills
+ Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive work issues
+ Analytical aptitude, ability to effectively multi-task and extreme attention to detail
Base salary range $65,000 - $75,000. This base salary range is a good faith estimate.
