Grambling State University is currently seeking a full time qualified Trades Apprentice to work in the Facilities Department.

Job Duties and Other Information
Job Duties:
+ Disassembles and repairs locks of all types, replaces worn parts
+ Makes keys and rekeys locks
+ Open combination and key locks by manipulation or by using power tools
+ Keeps records of all types of agency locks and keys issued
+ Repairs, opens, and changes combination of locks
+ Other duties as assigned
Position-Specific Details:
Appointment Type: Probational
Career Progression:Not eligible.
Work Schedule:Work hours are 7:30 am - 5:00 pm Monday - Thursday and 7:30 am - 11:30 am on Fridays.
Compensation:This position is eligible for an Extraordinary Credentials or Experience hire rate.
