Lamar's Corporate office is now hiring a Lease Accounting Analyst to work with Controllership to achieve complete, accurate, and timely accounting information as it relates to leases. This role works closely with field offices to address lease-related questions and issues.

What we are looking for in you:
+ Experience in the use of MS Office Programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc) and GSuite (Google Sheets, Slides, Docs)
+ Ability to accurately enter and compile data, as well as identify discrepancies and issues
+ Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines
Education and experience requirements:
+ High school diploma or equivalent required
+ Bachelor’s degree preferred
+ 2 or more years of office experience preferred

A day in the life:
+ Responsible for various administrative functions related to leases, including, but not limited to, reading new and renewal leases, interpreting and analyzing lease issues, entering lease data into the system, verification of voids, and generating, publishing, and distributing lease compliance database reports
+ Conduct audits as directed to ensure compliance with the Company’s processes and SOX controls
+ Assist field offices with questions regarding leases
+ Assist the Sr. Lease Accounting Analyst and Lease Supervisor with special projects, as needed
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
+ The primary work environment is an office
+ The physical demands for this position include light lifting, seeing (with a focus on reading), sitting more than 50% of the time, talking, and walking.
+ Nights spent traveling, away from home, are less than 5%.
