    Accounting Associate - Remote

    Job Description

    The Associate Accountant is responsible for assisting in the day-to-day routine maintenance of complete and accurate Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger accounts and in preparing basic financial reports.

    Responsibilities

    + Support assigned month end and year end accounting close procedures

    + Create standard support schedules and prepare balance sheet reconciliations

    + Calculate accrual entries and complete timely and accurate general ledger entries

    + Assist team members with analysis projects

    + Other duties as assigned

    Minimum Qualifications

    + Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting or related area of study or equivalent combination of education and/or work experience; HS diploma or GED is required

    + Must be eligible to work in the United States without need for work visa or residency sponsorship

    Additional Qualifications

    + Basic level knowledge of Excel (including detailed understanding of v-lookups, pivot tables and formulas) and Word

    + Basic accounting, GAAP and FASB knowledge

    Preferred Qualifications

    + Experience with database tools: general ledger, fixed asset and accounting software

    + Basic level knowledge of PowerPoint

    Potential pay for this position ranges from $23.08 - $37.02 based on experience and skills.
