    In this role, you will:

    + Provide support to Engineering and Manufacturing in the Material and Component Engineering Laboratory.

    + Perform testing to ensure devices meet specifications (electrical, mechanical and environmental criteria).

    + Perform root cause failure analysis of electronic assemblies and components.

    + Use a variety of electronic test equipment like oscilloscopes, power supplies, signal generators, curve tracer, DVM s, LCR meter, network analyzers, etc.

    + Use a variety of lab equipment such as low magnification and high magnification microscopes, cross-sectioning equipment, laser decap machine, X-ray, etc.

    Who you are:

    + You have a strong background in electronics

    + You have a strong desire to learn and develop new skills

    + Enjoy hands on work

    Required Education, Experience, & Skills

    + High School Diploma or AA/AS degree or other 2-year post high school training with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.

    + Strong written and verbal communication skills.

    + Excellent interpersonal skills for frequent interaction among engineers, peers and management.

    + Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.

    + Familiar with test equipment or lab equipment used for non-destructive and destructive analysis.

    + US Citizen

    Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

    + Past experience in failure analysis of electronic assemblies

    + Past experience testing and analyzing electronic components and materials

    + 5 years of experience in a material evaluation or failure analysis laboratory

    + Capable of obtaining a U.S. DoW Secret security clearance

     

    Pay Information

     

    Full-Time Salary Range: $67734 - $108375

     

    Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
