Job Description
We are seeking a remote Business Developer/Account Manager with strong business development skills and a solid understanding of data center grid environments. This role starts as a hunter, focused on opening doors and driving new business, and transitions into account management as relationships mature. The ideal candidate combines sales expertise with technical knowledge to engage confidently with hyperscale operators, grid connection providers, and co-location partners.
Position Details
Employment Type: Full-Time
Travel: 70% of Time
Responsibilities:
Drive new business development within the data center grid ecosystem
Identify and engage hyperscale operators, grid connection providers, and co-locators
Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to account management
Provide technical consultation during pre-sales and customer discussions
Utilize Salesforce for pipeline management and reporting
Conduct panel interviews and technical Q&A sessions with customers
Build strategic relationships and leverage networks to open doors in the grid data center market
Compensation: OTE $120K–$150K. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 1st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.

Skills and Requirements
Proven experience in sales engineering or business development within technology or infrastructure sectors
Strong background in data grid environments within data centers
Familiarity with hyperscales, grid connections, or co-location providers
Experience using Salesforce CRM
Sales-driven mindset with a slight technical/engineering understanding
Excellent networking and relationship-building skills Experience in international sales
Background in energy dynamics
