Job Description
• Answer incoming calls, assess patient needs, take accurate messages
• Schedule appointments (including infusion room and treatments)
• Work closely with clinical staff and other departments
• Ensure insurance, demographic, and eligibility info is accurate
• Submit pre-authorizations and referrals
• Maintain and update physician schedules
• Provide appointment details and instructions to patients
• Handle faxing, scanning, and document indexing
• Provide coverage for coworkers during absences
• Deliver excellent customer service with compassion and empathy
Perform other duties as assigned
