Job Description
We are hiring for a Systems Administrator supporting our clients research labs West Coast operations, you will manage and maintain IT systems to ensure reliable performance for research activities. Your responsibilities include administering Linux and Windows environments, updating and modernizing test systems, and providing technical support for hardware and software. You’ll generate documentation, consult with researchers on technology needs, and assist with field and in-water testing of underwater vehicles. This role is fully on-site in Keyport, WA, with occasional travel for testing.

Skills and Requirements
Advanced Linux and Windows administration experience.
Strong understanding of networking concepts and IT hardware (servers, workstations, peripherals).
Ability to troubleshoot complex technical problems and communicate effectively.
Proven organizational and problem-solving skills in dynamic environments. Current eligibility for Secret clearance or higher.
Familiarity with DoD/DCSA authorization processes and security frameworks.
Experience with automation tools (Ansible, Puppet) and scripting languages (Bash, PowerShell, Python).
Knowledge of endpoint security, vulnerability scanning tools, and research computing environments.
ability to obtain a government clearance or current clearance
