    This position is part of our Signal & Power Solutions segment, Connection Systems business unit.

    Summary (About this Position):

    We are currently looking for a skilled trades Maintenance Mechanic/Machine Repair for our Warren, Ohio Manufacturing Operations

    Responsibilities:

    + Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair and maintenance

    + Troubleshooting - determining causes of operating errors and deciding the resolution

    + Rebuilding of production machines as needed

    + Safe use of tools and power equipment needed in the trade

    + Knowledge of Mechanical Systems, shaft alignment, pneumatics, hydraulics and bearings

    + Ability to drive and operate cranes, work platforms and other power equipment

    + Layout and install machinery per blueprints

    + Weld, fabricate and repair equipment as needed

    + Perform preventative maintenance as needed

    + Monitor production machinery/equipment operation to detect problems

    + Read blueprints, specifications, technical drawings

     

    Must Haves (i.e. Basic Qualifications):

     

    + Copies of all required documents to support 8 years or 16,000 (W-2/paystubs) hours working as a maintenance mechanic/journeyman card/apprenticeship certificate

    + Ability to work any shift and/or shift pattern, including weekends

    + Documented work history

    + One year of continuous employment

    + References upon request
