    Faculty Practice Plan Services** has an outstanding opportunity for a **Lead Payment Poster.

    Work Schedule

    + 100% Full Time

    + Remote

    + Monday - Friday

    POSITION HIGHLIGHTS

    The Lead Payment Posting Coordinator is responsible for backing up the payment posters. S/he will retrieve, prepare, and distribute the daily bank download to assigned posters; help prepare and reconcile the daily cash deposit ; coordinate the daily workload for the payment posters; post complex batches, track down and resolve, missing (or mis-posted) payments; and reconcile and resolve the daily bank corrections. The Lead will participate in on-the-job training thus s/he must possess knowledge and skills of payment posting, support learning and development opportunities for staff and effectively use one-on-one instructional techniques.

    PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

    + Serve as backup to payment posters and backup for the daily cash deposit.

    + Retrieve, prepare, and distribute the daily bank download for ERA posting, reporting, and reconciliations as required.

    + Reconcile various types of deposits (including EFTs, bank cards, clinic deposits, etc.)

    + Post NSFs, and foreign currency discounts. Log all data into the database and corresponding spreadsheets.

    + Serve as backup to Supervisor for assigning and releasing the daily cash posting batches in EPIC.

    + Observe employees at work, provide feedback, and facilitate problem solving to enhance performance of team members:

    + Address employee’s specific gaps in skill or experience through guidance and encouragement.

    + Mentor and train staff to support achievement of quality assurance expectations.

    + Advise and assist the payment posting staff with complex posting issues, balancing problems, missing (or mis-posted) payments, and improvements to workflow processes that will result in greater efficiency.

    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

    + High School graduation or equivalent AND three years of experience in patient accounting, customer service, or a related office environment.

    + Equivalent education and/or experience may substitute for minimum qualifications except when there are legal requirements, such as a license, certification, and/or registration.

     

    Compensation, Benefits and Position Details

    Pay Range Minimum:

    $52,164.00 annual

    Pay Range Maximum:

    $74,676.00 annual
