**PDS Tech Commercial** is partnering with a global leader in the aerospace industry to find a driven **Technical Project Manager** (Technical Program Manager) to join a high-performing team in **Mobile, Alabama** . In this role, you’ll lead complex, high-visibility programs that directly support commercial aircraft production—shaping schedules, budgets, processes, and outcomes that matter. What You’ll Do (Day-to-Day Impact)
As a Technical Project Manager, you will lead a portfolio of technical projects and programs across commercial aircraft production, collaborating with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders to deliver results.
Key Responsibilities Include:
+ Lead projects to ensure **On-Time / On-Quality / On-Cost** execution
+ Develop and manage **project schedules** , budgets, and resources using **earned value management**
+ Build **business cases** using financial and operational data
+ Define project scope, **work breakdown structures** , and industrial set-ups
+ Establish project governance, KPIs, and milestone gate reviews with senior leadership
+ Manage **risks, opportunities, and change management** throughout the project lifecycle
+ Control and report project status to internal and external customers
+ Analyze current (“As-Is”) processes and develop future-state (“To-Be”) solutions
+ Lead projects at the **Final Assembly Line (FAL) in Mobile** , partnering with Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, PMO, and global teams
+ Support customer acceptance plans, stakeholder engagement, and communication strategies
+ Capture **lessons learned** and drive continuous improvement
Your Boarding Pass – Qualifications
Required Education & Experience
+ Bachelor’s degree in **Engineering, Business, or Management**
+ **3+ years** combined experience in engineering, continuous improvement in a manufacturing/production environment, and project or program management _(Graduate studies or military training may count toward experience)_
+ **This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license** .
Preferred Experience
+ Aviation, aerospace, or automotive industry experience
+ Industrial or manufacturing engineering background
+ Proven record of successfully implemented manufacturing improvements
Preferred Certifications
+ **PMP** or **AIB Bronze Level Certification**
+ Agile, Six Sigma Green Belt, Lean+, DFSS, or Black Belt training
Skills & Technical Expertise
+ Proficiency in **Google Suite and Microsoft applications**
+ Strong knowledge of **Project & Portfolio Management (PPM)** tools and methodologies
+ Experience with **LBIP+ / DMAIC**
+ Preferred experience with **Planisware**
+ Excellent organizational, communication, and presentation skills
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
+ Ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage multiple priorities, and work independently
Additional Details
+ **Travel:** Domestic & International (approx. 10% or as required)
+ **Physical Requirements:** Ability to work in office and production environments, travel, and support on-site manufacturing activities as needed

**Pay Details:** $38.46 per hour
