Position Summary
The Rehabilitation Manager oversees the team of rehabilitation instructors and other rehabilitation personnel, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to individuals with disabilities or physical limitations. This leadership role involves strategic planning, personnel supervision, program development and quality assurance. The Rehabilitation Manager is responsible for fostering a collaborative environment, providing guidance and mentorship, and maintaining compliance with pre-determined regulatory standards. By combining expertise with a deep understanding of rehabilitation practices, the manager ensures the effective operation of rehabilitation programs.
This position requires on-site employment with no remote or hybrid options available.
Education and Professional Work Experience
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Rehabilitation Science, Occupational Therapy, Healthcare Administration, or a related field. Minimum of 8 years of experience in rehabilitation services, rehabilitation instruction, rehabilitation counseling, or a related field. Extensive hands-on experience working with individuals with disabilities in varied environments. Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC) may be required. Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) may be required
Preferred Qualification
+ Proficiency in all Microsoft Office products is required, especially Microsoft Excel, Word and Power Point.
+ Database management experience is preferred.
+ The candidate must effectively communicate orally and in writing.
+ Master’s degree in one of the above listed disciplines and licensed as a counselor in accordance with ACA 1 7-27 301 or certified as a Certified Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor in accordance with the Commission on Rehabilitation Counselor Certification.

Job Responsibilities and Expected Results
Key Business Processes/Duties
+ Supervise professional and administrative support staff by interviewing and recommending for hire, assigning, and reviewing work, training new employees, and evaluating the performance of incumbents.
+ Plan, implement, and direct service delivery and responsiveness and provides support and supervisions of case management and compliance.
+ Performs administrative duties, reporting, data collections, and fiscal management; and analyzes daily workloads and assignments.
+ Calculate program expenditures, review case records and reports, and communicate with staff and the public.
+ Develop, interpret, and implement program policies, procedures, and projects, and evaluate program and/or service delivery effectiveness and compliance.
+ Serve as a team member for policy development and implementation of agency guidelines. Develop and maintain referral sources and community contacts.
+ Understand and remain compliant with policies and procedures.
+ Determine program or operating alternatives, advise on contract or grant development and special projects, and coordinate the exchange of information internally and externally.
+ Identify program and operating needs, prepare budget requests, monitor and approve expenditures and contracts, and prepare and present program or operating information, report, training, and/or proposals.
+ Maintain adequate rate of production in assigned area and required number of closures.
+ Monitor and document job market information, including local industry needs and vocational skill requirements for employment, and maintain confidential records.
+ Provide ARS representation on local WIOA Board.
+ Preserve the integrity of all employees and client information.
+ Perform other duties as assigned.

Primary Responsibilities
Supervise, mentor, and evaluate the performance of rehabilitation instructors and other rehabilitation personnel, promoting professional growth. Oversee the design, implementation, and evaluation of individualized rehabilitation programs. Ensure that all rehabilitation services are delivered effectively, adhering to best practices and pre-determined regulatory guidelines. Develop training programs for rehabilitation personnel in an attempt to enhance skills and knowledge in adaptive techniques and technologies. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate rehabilitation services seamlessly with healthcare, educational, and community resources. Conduct needs assessments and implement strategies to improve program delivery and client outcomes. Manage program budgets, allocate resources efficiently, and maintain accurate financial records. Serve as a liaison between the organization, clients, families, and community partners, advocating for accessibility and inclusion. Monitor program effectiveness, gather feedback, and make data-driven decisions to refine operations. Stay updated on industry trends, legislative changes, and technological advancements in rehabilitation services.
