    CHMC-Hemo/Chron RN-Full Time-Day Shift-6a-4p-Requisition 8904

     

    Pay Range: $37.72-$49.63*

     

    *Sign On Bonus Eligible*

     

    Provides comprehensive nursing care to patients receiving dialysis in both an inpatient and outpatient setting. Strong emphasis on psychological support through patient teaching and interpersonal communication. This nurse interacts with a population of chronically ill, long-tem patients and must perform technical skills repeatedly with scrupulous attention to detail. Patience and a sense of humor are critical to patient/staff relationships. On-Call rotation will be required.

    Qualifications:

    + Current N.Y.S RN license

    + Mini-EKG course preferred.

    + Demonstrates knowledge of growth & development across the life span and the ability to use that knowledge to individualize the plan and delivery of care.

    + Must maintain current BLS certification.

    + One (1) year previous Critical Care or Med/Surg nursing experience preferred. 18 months experience in nursing care of patients receiving maintenance dialysis preferred.
