Job description
Quality Systems Engineering opportunity in manufacturing/production of aero evacuation systems for aircraft e.g. safety slides, lift rafts and vests. As part of the Quality Engineering team will maintain and improve the organization's AS9100 Quality System to ensure product consistently meets regulatory and quality standards and meets the Customer needs and expectations. Point of contact with 3rd Party Registrar and regulatory agencies i.e. FAA. Represent the organization to customers, regulatory bodies or potential customers through presentation and communication of the quality management system process and performance results. Responsible for deploying the Quality Management System in compliance with AS9100 in all facilities. Implement improvements to quality system and procedures to positively impact business objectives and customer satisfaction. Communicate changes to quality system and procedures to affected stakeholders. Responsible for documentation of SIPOC and PEAR diagrams for each process and ensure a KPI is set for each process to attain set objectives. Supports contribution of the QMS to the organization's goals. Develop and maintain compliance matrices for regulatory, certification and customer requirements. Determine training needs or other tools for stakeholders and employees.

Develop an internal audit schedule and track schedule adherence. Coordinate internal audits with Quality leads at each
facility and ensure timely closure of corrective actions by responsible parties. Maintain audit records in the organization's intranet. Responsible to present internal audit results in Quarterly Management review meetings. Support AS9100 Certification and surveillance audits at all facilities. Support QMS activities at each company facility. Responsible to complete Customer surveys and quality reports. Maintain quality system documents, includes QSP, SQD, GIP, SIP and other supporting documentation. Write procedures, bulletins and directives for the
Quality System as required. Responsible to integrate Company Standards defined at Group level ensure compliance. Maintain Service Center/Satellite Repair Station/Quality Control Manual and European Union Aviation Safety Agency Supplement. Maintain quality records per retention schedule. Ensure corrective actions are documented, completed thoroughly and timely per company procedures. Member of the Warranty Review Board team, responsible for initiating and completing the corrective action process with goal to prevent re-occurrence of
non-conformities per QSP 1404, Corrective Action Process. Member of the Safran Quality Management Systems Working Group, attend group meetings when required and follow up on any actions assigned by the working group (requires traveling as meetings can be on-site or off-site). Contrib
Candidate skills & requirements
Education and/or Experience:
Requires a Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering or Foreign Equivalent
2 years' experience in Industrial Engineering.

Business Travel to Company's production facilities in Chihuahua, Mexico & Liberty, Mississippi 2 weeks/per annual quarter or less, for team business meetings & Quality Audits. Company's Chihuahua, MX, & Liberty, MS locations are NOT additional work sites.
