    PeaceHealth is seeking a **Behavioral Health Clinician Licensed Lead for a Full Time, 1.00 FTE, Day position.**

     

    The salary range for this job opening at PeaceHealth is $43.03 – $64.55. The hiring rate is dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to education, training, work experience, terms of any applicable collective bargaining agreement, seniority, etc.

    Job Summary

    Responsible for coordinating the day-to-day functions for assigned area. Assists with ensuring that departmental goals are achieved, timelines met and service excellence provided in all aspects of work. Subject matter expert. Coordinates and oversees the plan of care and service delivery of behavioral health consumers across the continuum of illness; promotes effective utilization and monitoring of health care resources; and works collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to achieve optimal clinical outcomes. Provide services to consumers with commercial insurance and Medicaid.

    Details of the position:

    + Assign work; plan and manage priorities, provide technical assistance, oversee staff schedules, monitor quality of work, monitor team projects, mentor staff, provide constructive feedback, oversee staff training, ensure quality improvement, provide leadership feedback on staff performance, and assist with goal setting for the team.

    + Provides individual, family, group and multi-family group therapy to patients with complex diagnostic presentations and treatment needs.

    + Provides clinical leadership to team of masters’ and bachelors’ level clinical and student interns.

    + Assesses, develops, implements and monitors a comprehensive plan of care through an interdisciplinary team process in conjunction with the patient and their self-identified natural supports.

    + Evaluates and provides interventions to improve a patient’s cognitive, social, vocational, spiritual, and emotional functioning, utilizing natural and community supports when possible.

    + Provides urgent/crisis evaluations, interventions, and safety planning.

    + Together with consumer and natural supports, identifies key problems, strengths and resources to be addressed in the treatment plan.

    + May provide case management, coordination with other treatment agencies or outside support services, outreach and engagement.

    + Performs other duties as assigned.

    What you bring:

    + Master's Degree Required: Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or Marriage & Family Therapy

    + Minimum of 3 years Required: Experience as a licensed Behavioral Health Clinician or equivalent role and

    + Required: Experience in diagnosis and treatment of patients with complex mental health conditions and

    + Preferred: Experience provided clinical supervision to bachelors’ and masters’ level clinicians preferred and

    + Preferred: Previous leadership training or experience

    + Required: Upon Hire Licensed Clinical Social Worker - Oregon for jobs based in Oregon or

    + Required: Upon Hire Licensed Professional Counselor - Oregon for jobs based in Oregon or

    + Required: Upon Hire Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist-Oregon for jobs based in Oregon and

    + Required: Upon Hire Basic Life Support

    Skills

    + Interpersonal skills to obtain and interpret information appropriate to patients’ needs and age as required for assessment range of treatment, and patient care. (Required)

    + Proficiency with DSM-5 diagnoses and best practice treatment interventions for a variety of behavioral health conditions. (Required)

    + Demonstrated ability to promote positive interpersonal relationships and patient/family centered work environment. (Required)

    + Knowledge and adherence to ethical guidelines for behavioral health clinical practice. (Required)

    + Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office applications and documenting in electronic medical records. (Required)

    + Effective prioritization skills. (Required)

     

    Department / Location Specific Notes

    Oregon West Network – Behavioral Health Crisis Stabilization Residential Treatment Services:

    + Experience working in a residential treatment facility.

    + Responsible for daily programing and milieu management.

    + Provide guidance and support to clinical staff.

    + Strong consumer engagement skills across continuum.

    + Nonviolent Crisis Intervention (CPI) training completed within 60 days of hire.

    Oregon West Network - BHS Young Adult Hub:

    + Responsible for community education and marketing of Young Adult Hub and EASA programs to community partners, referents, families, grant sponsors and other State entities.

    + QMHP eligible required.

    + Strong consumer engagement skills, working with young adults, ages 13-30.

    + Ability to work in clinic, community, and home settings.

    + CADC preferred.

    + Valid Oregon Driver’s license required.

    Oregon West Network – Crisis/Consult:

    + Responsible for evaluating patients experiencing a mental health crisis to determine appropriate levels of care including psychiatric hospitalization.

    + Ability to work in a fast-paced emergency room and medical floor setting with a multi-disciplinary team.

    + QMHP eligible required.

    + CADC preferred.

    + Strong diagnostic, evaluation, and crisis intervention skills required.

    Oregon West Network – Behavioral Health Medical Home/Transition Team:

    + Ability to work in a clinic, community, and home settings.

    + Strong consumer engagement skills across continuum.

    + Strong case management and consumer advocacy skills.

    + QMHP eligible required.

    + CADC preferred.

    + Valid Oregon Driver’s license required.

    + Bilingual skills desired.
