Job Description

As a 2026 AutoZone Spring Architecture Intern supporting Store Development, you will focus on the hands-on life cycle of developing our stores from site selection to pre-construction tasks, construction and optimizing our retail store layouts. Your background knowledge in Architecture Major will support your experience as an intern.

Responsibilities

As an intern, you will engage in meaningful projects that support AutoZone’s operations, gain insights into the inner workings of a leading automotive parts retailer, and develop professional skills through shadowing experiences and one-on-one mentorship.This program is designed to enhance your academic knowledge with practical application, preparing you for a successful career in your chosen field.

Qualifications

Majors we are Searching for:

+ Architecture

School requirements:

+ Must be a current rising Junior or Senior student enrolled into a college or university at the time of Spring Semester 2026 Internship Program (February 2 – May 22, 2026)

+ Intern must be attending classes while working as an intern for the Spring Semester

Job requirements:

+ Ability to work 20 – 30 hours per week

+ Must be able to live in Memphis or adjacent counties for the duration of the internship and be fully in person at work during the internship

+ Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint required

+ Knowledge of Microsoft Teams, Sharepoint, Lists, and Power Apps is a plus

+ You should be proficient in presentation and interpersonal skills

+ Ability to adapt to different project teams, tasks, departments

+ Ability to complete work in a specified timeframe (deadlines)

+ Be reliable and communicate well with supervisors, team members, and consultants
