    The MSO Credentialing Specialist provides medical professional credentialing of initial applications and recredentialing, adhering to various regulatory requirements including accrediting bodies, CMS, federal and state regulations, medical staff bylaws, policies and procedures. This role has the potential for hybrid remote work following successful completion of training. Applicants must be in the Madison, WI area.

    Position requirements:

    Associate Degree in Medical Staff Services, Administrative, Business, or Health Information Management, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

     

    Minimum 3 years of Administrative Support experience

     

    Must be able to work independently, be self-directed with strong organizational, problem solving, time management, and prioritization skills.

     

    Experience working with databases required.

     

    Knowledge of medical terminology

    Preferred Requirements:

    NAMSS Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPSC) certification strongly preferred

     

    Experience working in a Medical Staff Office performing and supporting provider credentialing and privileging activities
