Job Summary
The Senior Manager, Visual Design is responsible for supporting the front-end user interface design needs of Marriott Bonvoy Boutiques ecommerce business. This person will primarily focus on designing our mobile website, landing pages and emails, but may contribute to a variety of design needs across marketing and merchandising functions as needed. The ideal candidate is primarily a web/mobile graphic designer with experience leading UI/UX disciplines such as developing user flows, wireframes, and user testing. This is an exciting opportunity for an entrepreneurial designer to work on a variety of projects and be a significant contributor to the success of our business.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
Education and Experience
_Required_
+ 4-year degree from an accredited university in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
+ 6 or more years of relevant professional experience in UI/UX design, with a strong portfolio showcasing skills developing end-to-end user experiences in ecommerce and other design projects.
+ Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Sketch, Figma, InVision, etc.
+ Proven experience in building mobile websites, marketing landing pages and emails.
+ Strong understanding of user-centered design principles, information architecture, and usability testing.
+ Excellent visual design skills with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics.
_Preferred_
+ Experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud strongly
+ Experience with other ecommerce platforms such as Shopify, Magento, Squarespace, Netsuite.
+ Experience with generative AI for images.
+ Experience with photo retouching.
+ Broad design experience such as promotions, video, packaging, product design.
+ Experience in the home or luxury retail industries.
