    Overview

     

    The Behavioral Health Clinician for Employee Mental Health—licensed as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC), or Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)—serves as a core member of the Dartmouth Health Behavioral Health Solution (DHBHS) Program in connection with the Department of Psychiatry and Performance Network Operations (PNO). This clinician provides high-quality, evidence-based mental health services to employees of the Dartmouth Health system, supporting their psychological well-being, resilience, and functioning in the workplace.

     

    In addition to direct clinical care, the clinician contributes their expertise in psychotherapy, systems-based practice, and health communication to program development and the creation of educational and wellness initiatives such as podcasts, workshops, and educational and support group programs.

    Responsibilities

    * Provides complete psychosocial assessments of patients and families including but not limited to: abilities, aptitudes, interests and motivation, psychological aspects of physical illnesses, accidents, injuries or disabilities and substance abuse/dependencies.

    * Evaluates, diagnoses and provides treatment for patients within areas such as anxiety disorders, mood disorders, substance use disorders, aggressive behavior, conduct disorder, oppositional defiant disorder, ADHD, eating disorders, and developmental disorders.

    * Establishes achievable treatment goals with clients utilizing the most appropriate types of psychotherapy (i.e., behavior therapy, cognitive therapy, crisis intervention, family/couples, group, counseling and/or supportive cognitive therapy).

    * Observe, describe, diagnose, evaluate, treat, consult, interpret and modify human behavior by applying psychological principles, methods, or procedures to patients who suffer from mental, behavioral, or emotional disorders or disabilities.

    * Collaborates effectively with team members when appropriate.

    * Documents appropriate objective, concise and pertinent clinical data in the medical record.

    * Performs other duties as required or assigned.

    Qualifications

    * Master’s degree in social work from an accredited institution of higher education, including an internship meeting professional standards.

    * Must be able to demonstrate that he or she has provided psychological services, on an inpatient, outpatient or consultative basis in the past 12 months.

     

    Required Licensure/Certifications

    - Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in New Hampshire and VT

    * Remote:Fully Remote

    * Area of Interest:Allied Health

    * Pay Range:$70,470.40/Yr. - $109,241.60/Yr. (Based on 40 hours per week, otherwise pro rata)

    * FTE/Hours per pay period:1.00 - 1.00 - 40 hrs/week
