• Payroll/HR Generalist

    Our client, a transportation industry leader, is seeking a Payroll/HR Generalist to join their team. As a Payroll/HR Generalist, you will be part of the payroll support team supporting transportation operations. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a proactive attitude which will align successfully in the organization.

     

    **Job Title:** Payroll/HR Generalist

    **Location:** Clackamas, OR

    **Pay Range:** $20.81 - $26.01 Hourly

    **Position Type** : 1-Month Contract

    **Shift:** Sunday through Thursday, 6:00am to 2:30pm

     

    What's the Job?

     

    + Manage payroll process to verify the correct hours of work are paid per contract

    + Provide time and attendance information to the main office

    + Review paperwork for new associates and verify clock operability

    + Maintain manual associate payroll/punch logs and enter data into the system

    + Generate daily exception logs and weekly payroll reports for managers

     

    What's Needed?

     

    + High school diploma or GED, with at least one year of experience in time and attendance

    + Ability to pass a drug test and work in a fast-paced environment

    + Availability to work weekends and occasional overtime

    + Strong accuracy, organization, and confidentiality skills

    + Familiarity with industry terms and ability to meet deadlines
