Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Point of Care Coordinator to lead and oversee point-of-care testing programs across multiple clinical settings. This role plays a critical part in ensuring regulatory compliance, quality assurance, and high standards of patient care while collaborating closely with laboratory and facility leadership.
**Location:** Bradenton, FL (Onsite)
**Schedule** : Full-Time | Day Shift | No Weekends
**Specialty:** Laboratory Management / Point-of-Care Testing
**Pay Range** $32.62 – $48.93/hour(Based on years of experience
Key Responsibilities
• Supervise and administer Point-of-Care (POC) testing programs
• Monitor performance data, quality metrics, and proficiency testing results
• Develop and implement corrective action plans when needed
• Ensure compliance with CAP, CLIA, AHCA, and other regulatory standards
• Assist with licensure, inspections, renewals, and regulatory documentation
• Prepare and manage Quality Control, Quality Assurance, and compliance programs
• Ensure proper operation, maintenance, and documentation of POC equipment
• Train and educate staff on POC procedures, policies, and best practices
• Support emergency and disaster coverage as needed
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree in Biological or Chemical Science required
• Florida Supervisor License required
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a clinical laboratory setting
• Required experience in Point-of-Care testing and/or Quality Assurance
• Strong independent judgment, analytical thinking, and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

**Pay Details:** $32.62 to $48.93 per hour
