**Position Title:** RN Manager – Trauma Program
**Location:** Manchester, NH
**Position Type:** Full-Time | Day Shift (No Weekends)

Compensation:
$47.30 – $56.31 – $65.20 per hour (based on years of experience)
Position Overview
The RN Manager of the Trauma Program is responsible for the development, coordination, and ongoing evaluation of a comprehensive trauma care system. This role ensures high-quality, cost-effective trauma care across the continuum, supports regulatory compliance, and promotes optimal patient outcomes. The RN Manager works closely with trauma medical leadership, emergency services, and external agencies to support an effective and responsive trauma program.
Key Responsibilities
+ Develop, implement, and maintain a coordinated system of care for trauma patients and their families across the continuum of care
+ Serve as a liaison between the hospital and external partners, including EMS, fire services, ambulance providers, and law enforcement
+ Collaborate with EMS medical leadership and state trauma authorities; participate in committees as appropriate
+ Develop and maintain trauma-related policies and procedures in accordance with current best practices and state trauma regulations
+ Plan, coordinate, implement, and evaluate all trauma patient care activities under the direction of the Trauma Medical Director
+ Conduct concurrent monitoring and evaluation of trauma care through systematic review of trauma medical records
+ Maintain accurate documentation within the trauma registry and identify opportunities for performance improvement
+ Stay current in trauma care through ongoing education, research, conferences, and maintenance of certifications
+ Coordinate preparation for state and national trauma designation or verification site visits
+ Respond to trauma team activations during scheduled work hours and provide leadership and clinical guidance as needed
+ Support emergency department initiatives related to trauma and resource hospital activities
+ Oversee quality assurance, compliance, and reporting related to state trauma data systems and patient care reporting
Qualifications
Education
+ Nursing degree required
+ Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
Experience
+ Minimum of three years of recent trauma nursing experience in an acute care setting required
Licensure & Certifications
+ Current Registered Nurse license in the state of practice required
+ Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required
+ CEN certification preferred

**Pay Details:** $47.30 to $65.20 per hour
