    Position Title: Medical Technologist

    **Location:** Panama City, FL

    **Position Type:** Allied Health

    **Shift:** Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) with rotating weekends

    **Positions Available:** 1

    **Pay Range:** $28.65 – $36.95 per hour, depending on experience

    **Bonus:** Sign-On $15,000

    **Relocation Assistance:** Case by case

    Position Overview

    The Medical Technologist (MT) performs assigned laboratory tests in specialty departments such as Hematology, Clinical Chemistry, Blood Bank, Serology, Coagulation, Urinalysis, and Microbiology. By conducting laboratory tests and procedures, the MT provides critical data to assist in the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of disease.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Perform complex analysis of microscopic, immunologic, biologic, bacteriologic, hematologic, and chemical tests

    + Receive, organize, and process laboratory specimens and supplies

    + Troubleshoot and resolve instrument issues, documenting corrective actions

    + Ensure quality control procedures are properly executed and logged

    + Train new employees or students as needed

    + Participate in phlebotomy and specimen accessioning responsibilities

    + Maintain compliance with all laboratory protocols and regulatory standards

    Qualifications

    + Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or a related field

    + MT/Medical Laboratory Scientist certification required; ASCP or equivalent preferred

    + Florida State Medical Technologist license (or applied/licensed)

    + Prior laboratory experience preferred; clinical rotations, lab assistant, or specimen processing experience valued

    + US work authorization required

    **Pay Details:** $28.65 to $36.95 per hour
