    Position Title: MRI Technologist

    **Location:** Panama City, FL

    **Position Type:** Allied Health

    **Positions Available:** 1

    **Shift:** Weekends (Friday 10:00 AM – 10:30 PM, Saturday 9:00 AM – 9:30 PM, Sunday 9:00 AM – 9:30 PM)

    Pay Range:

    + 0–5 years: $32–$37/hr

    + 5–9 years: $38–$40/hr

    + 10+ years: $40.50–$44/hr **Shift Differentials:** Nights $5/hr, Weekends $5/hr **On Call / Call Back:** As needed; 2-hour minimum, time and a half **Sign-On Bonus:** $5,000 **Relocation Assistance:** Available if eligible

    Position Overview

    The MRI Technologist performs magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) procedures to detect and assess pathology. This role involves operating MRI equipment, producing high-quality diagnostic images, and managing images within PACS. The technologist ensures patient safety and comfort while adhering to departmental and regulatory standards.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Perform MRI procedures on various anatomical regions, including head, neck, spine, musculoskeletal, and body

    + Operate, calibrate, and maintain MRI equipment according to safety standards

    + Process and organize images in PACS for review by physicians

    + Follow protocols to ensure image quality and patient safety

    + Maintain accurate documentation of procedures and patient information

    + Assist with patient positioning, preparation, and education regarding procedures

    + Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare team members to support patient care

    Qualifications

    + Associate Degree (or equivalent) in Radiological Technology required

    + Minimum of 1 year MRI experience; 3 years preferred

    + Knowledge of MRI concepts and cross-sectional anatomy

    + Florida State Registered Radiologic Technician License required

    + ARRT (R) & (MR) certification required

    + Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification

    **Pay Details:** $32.00 to $44.00 per hour
