Job Title: Patient Service Representative / Front Desk
**Location:** East Brunswick, NJ
**Pay Rate:** $21–$28/hour
Schedule:
+ Monday–Thursday: 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM
+ Friday: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM

Job Overview
We are seeking a **reliable and professional Patient Service Representative** to support the front desk operations of a busy dental practice. This role is ideal for someone with prior medical or dental office experience who is comfortable managing patient interactions, scheduling, insurance verification, and electronic records. Consistent attendance and strong communication skills are essential.
Key Responsibilities
+ Greet and assist patients in person and over the phone in a friendly, professional manner
+ Schedule appointments, send appointment reminders, and manage cancellations
+ Verify insurance eligibility and input patient demographics accurately
+ Collect copays and coinsurance at check-in/check-out
+ Assist with electronic medical records (EMR) and documentation
+ Utilize web texting communication for patient outreach
+ Handle office correspondence, filing, printing, archiving, and general administrative support as needed
Requirements
+ Prior experience working in a medical or dental office (required)
+ Hands-on experience with **Open Dental** software (required)
+ Experience with **Dentrix** is considered similar and transferable
+ Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
+ Comfortable handling high-volume phone calls and patient interactions
+ Reliable, punctual, and able to consistently show up to work
+ Bilingual Spanish skills- Preferred
**Pay Details:** $21.00 to $28.00 per hour
