Position Title: Manager – Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU)

**Salary Range:** $95,000 – $112,000 per year, depending on experience
Position Overview
The PACU Manager provides leadership and oversight for the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit, ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care. This role collaborates with perioperative leadership to coordinate operations, manage staff, and maintain standards of care in accordance with policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. The Manager oversees daily unit functions, supports team development, and ensures positive outcomes for patients.
Key Responsibilities
+ Oversee the daily operations of the PACU, including staffing, patient flow, and care coordination
+ Ensure adherence to evidence-based practices, hospital policies, and regulatory standards
+ Provide leadership, mentoring, and support to nurses and supervisors within the unit
+ Collaborate with perioperative and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care and outcomes
+ Manage unit resources, including equipment, supplies, and scheduling
+ Facilitate patient and family education, discharge planning, and satisfaction initiatives
+ Monitor quality and safety indicators and implement improvements as needed
+ Maintain accurate records, documentation, and compliance with safety standards
Qualifications
+ Minimum 3 years of recent acute care PACU leadership experience
+ Current RN licensure
+ Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) required
+ Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required within 90 days of hire
+ Associate Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred

**Pay Details:** $95,000.00 to $112,000.00 per year
