**Salary:** $29.56 – $40.65/hr (based on experience)
**Shift Differential:** Nights $4.25 | Weekends $3.00
**Bonus:** Sign-On $20,000
**Relocation:** Case-by-Case
**Schedule:** Days or Nights (Rotating Weekends)
Position Summary
The Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) performs comprehensive respiratory care for patients of all ages in an acute care hospital setting. This role administers routine and complex respiratory therapy procedures, manages mechanical ventilation, and ensures accurate documentation while supporting high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities
+ Perform all respiratory care duties under general supervision
+ Set up and administer routine and complex respiratory therapy procedures
+ Operate and monitor acute care ventilators for short- and long-term use
+ Maintain department and hospital records, accurately entering therapy data
+ Function independently in the absence of the full-time Team Leader
Qualifications
+ Minimum 1 year of recent acute care RRT experience (CRT experience considered)
+ Florida-licensed Registered Respiratory Therapist or eligible for licensure
