RN Manager, Cardiac Medical Unit
**Location:** Portsmouth, NH
**Pay Rate:** $47.30 – $65.20/hour (based on years of experience)
**Schedule:** Full-Time | Days | No Weekends
**Special Requirements:** Must have cardiac experience
Position Summary
The RN Manager, Cardiac Medical Unit, oversees daily operations of the unit, working in collaboration with leadership to drive patient satisfaction, quality outcomes, team growth, and physician relations. This role includes supervising and directing patient care and related services in accordance with hospital policies, regulatory standards, and best practices. The Manager actively supports safe, high-quality healthcare delivery by fostering collaboration with staff, physicians, and other departments.
Key Responsibilities
+ Maintain expert clinical knowledge of cardiac medical nursing
+ Manage day-to-day operations: scheduling, patient rounding, patient flow, and care experience
+ Support the professional competency and development of team members
+ Interview, hire, and onboard personnel
+ Assess and evaluate employee performance; implement learning plans and conduct annual evaluations
+ Counsel staff and manage the disciplinary process as needed
+ Provide leadership for regulatory, national, and specialty nursing standards compliance
+ Evaluate and monitor patient outcomes and daily core measures
+ Assist with unit budget, quality audits, and supply management
+ Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
+ Minimum 1–3 years of experience in an acute care setting
+ Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred (4-year degree)
+ Active RN license in New Hampshire or valid compact state RN license required
+ **Cardiac nursing experience required**

**Pay Details:** $47.30 to $65.20 per hour
