    Position Title: Medical Technologist

    **Location:** Brooksville, FL

    **Position Type:** Allied Health

    **Shift:** Nights (10:00 PM – 6:30 AM), 8, 10, or 12-hour shifts

    **Positions Available:** 1

    **Pay Range:** $27.09 – $37.92 per hour, depending on experience

    **Shift Differentials:** Night: $2.50/hr; On-Call: $2/hr

    **Bonus:** Night shift $10,000 / Day shift $5,000

    **Relocation Assistance:** Case by case

    Position Overview

    The Medical Technologist performs clinical laboratory testing across multiple disciplines, including Blood Bank, Chemistry, and Hematology. The role requires application of laboratory theory, independent judgment, and adherence to regulatory standards to ensure accurate and timely patient results. The MT also participates in specimen collection, processing, and departmental operations to support overall laboratory goals.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Perform stat and routine clinical laboratory testing following established procedures and regulatory requirements

    + Analyze proficiency testing samples and complete within specified timeframes

    + Maintain accurate documentation of all patient results and quality control activities

    + Perform quality control procedures and take corrective actions as needed

    + Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment

    + Monitor reagent and supply inventory for appropriate use

    + Support regulatory compliance and accreditation standards (CAP, etc.)

    + Assist in departmental workflow, covering for supervisors as needed

    + Maintain professional development and licensure requirements

    Qualifications

    + Associate Degree required; Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Technology or related field preferred

    + State of Florida Medical Technologist License required

    + Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Medical Technologist

    + Proficiency with laboratory information systems and quality control procedures

    **Pay Details:** $27.09 to $37.92 per hour
