    GENERAL INFORMATION

    This position will be part of a dynamic, high performance NetSecOps team. It will require collaboration with Technical Services and Functional teams within the office. This is a small team in a fast paced but fun environment that works across the network and cybersecurity domains.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    Maintain the core hardware and software infrastructure that underpin SCO’s technology stack. Reviews assigned systems for expected operations and implements solutions to resolve errors/alerts. Support the SCO teams in their efforts by ensuring that the infrastructure is available for use.

    Job Functions:

    Duties:Maintain core and access layer switches, routers, wireless access points, storage, compute resources, firewalls, and VPN. Responsible for ensuring that various software systems are operating and integrated with associated systems: network access controls, DNS security, syslog, network performance monitoring, IP address management, certificate management, and other applications as assigned. Participates in operational information security incident and crisis resolution management. Performs risk assessments of proposed hardware and software purchases to identify potential risks or exploits prior to implementation.

    Additional Functions:

    • Collaborate with technical teams in regard to adjusting infrastructure and network devices to changing security postures or controls.

    • Contributes to the positive performance of the Computer Services Division.

    • Demonstrates timely and consistent attendance. This is an in-office position.

    • Other duties as assigned.

     

    Minimum Qualifications:Capable of maintaining and troubleshooting various infrastructure systems that include data center hardware, routing/switching (to include BGP), firewalls, authentication, network access controls, VPN, network performance monitoring, logging, and integrations to related tools. Must be available to work scheduled and unscheduled maintenance windows outside normal working hours for system upgrades or repairs.

     

    Please note:The successful candidates will be required to pass a fingerprint-based background check and be eligible to work in the US.

    Distinguishing Qualifications:

    • 5+ years managing multiple critical systems.

    • Experience with cloud platforms.

    • Degree/Certification in a related field.

    • Be self-starting and have a questioning attitude.
