Description of Position

This role serves as the primary administrator for the ServiceNow platform, supporting day-to-day operations, platform stability, and continuous improvement across IT service management workflows. The administrator will configure and maintain core modules, manage security and access controls, and support service catalog and CMDB operations.

The position partners closely with internal teams to gather requirements, implement enhancements, support upgrades, and provide user training and troubleshooting. This role also supports light API-based integrations in collaboration with development resources.

Requirements

Requirements of Position

+ Hands-on experience administering ServiceNow in an ITSM environment

+ Strong knowledge of Incident, Problem, Change, Request, Knowledge, Service Catalog, and CMDB modules

+ Experience managing users, roles, groups, ACLs, and platform security

+ Ability to configure forms, fields, UI Policies, UI Actions, workflows, and basic automation

+ Experience supporting CMDB data quality, relationships, and governance

+ Familiarity with platform upgrades, patching, testing, and release management

+ Experience building reports, dashboards, and performance analytics

+ Basic familiarity with REST/SOAP APIs and integration concepts

+ Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and end-user support skills
